The Orangery provides - for your exclusive use - a secluded walled back garden and extensive gardens to the front of the building, perfect for outdoor summer receptions. Inside our bright and airy Garden Room and interconnecting Gallery space offer an ideal location for a buffet reception, intimate seated dining, a bar, disco or live music.

Our staff will ensure that catering and entertainment match your requirements. We can arrange it all or some of it, and for those on a budget we also offer a venue-only option at a fantastic rate.

We are a short walk from Wakefield Registry Office and opposite the Westgate Unitarian Chapel.

The Orangery offers excellent transport links – we are 2 minutes walk from the mainline Wakefield Westgate Station – perfect if you have guests coming from further afield.
